promptitude
reducing the patient's anxiety
integrated dental treatments

DENTAL AESTHETICS
1. Prophylaxis
In order to maintain a healthy oral cavity I recommend patients to undergo an oral examination (once every 6 months) in which a supra/sub gingival depuration is carried out, as well as a professional brushing and a treatment with PROPHY MATE.
Prophy mate is a device for dental prophylaxis which utilizes water, air and sodium bicarbonate powder to remove stains, plaque and lax deposits from the surface of the teeth. At the same time, due to the slightly abrasive powder, the polishing of the cleaned dental surfaces is made, thus obtaining exquisite esthetic results.

2. Teeth whitening
Teeth whitening represents a conservative solution for solving the superficial and moderate dental dyschromias (colorations) visible on the vital and devital teeth. Whitening of vital teeth consists of applying the whitening products on the surface of the enamel without affecting the dentine´s coloration. Special mouth guards are used in which the whitening gel is applied, and alternatively also a fluoridation gel. Devital (without pulps) teeth whitening is made by applying whitening products into the pulp´s chamber.
The effects of the whitening last for approximately 3 years. The color of the teeth is influenced by smoking and the consumption of food and beverages that color the enamel (black tea, wine, etc.)

3. Fully ceramic coronas (without metallic props)
very esthetical, are fixed unidental prostheses that restore the dental esthetics and morphology, because they are made entirely from ceramics of identical color with the adjacent teeth. They are recommended in coronary affections of the frontal area: dental dyschromias (alteration of the normal color of the tooth as a result of trauma by necrosis, or bleeding of the pulp), dental dystrophies (alteration in the form, structure, volume or number due to different causes that intervene during the development in the phase precursory to eruption), dental dysplasia (development abnormality of the tooth: amelogenesis or dentinogenesis), dental nanism, unaesthetic obturations, dental fractures.
